What’s the difference between color noise and white noise?
White noise refers to a noise that contains all of the frequencies across the spectrum of audible sound. With color noise, the frequencies are different and this difference can be heard.
For example, Pink noise is recognized in natural sounds such as rainfall, waves crashing on a beach, etc. These sounds are deeper than white noise which is usually described as the sound when a TV or radio is not tuned to a channel or the sound of a whirring fan, etc. Moshi has a range of different color noises and sounds to listen to.
